SME Mechanical is a full service mechanical contractor company in central Iowa specializing in complete mechanical design and engineering of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning systems, and piping. Our full service sheet metal shop handles fabrication and installation to fit all needs, including architectural metal.
We provide comfort for our customers, during the construction process and with the final end product. First established as Sheet Metal Engineering, Inc. in 2002 by Jeff Lindell, SME Mechanical is a continuation of several mechanical groups that have evolved over the years from the very best mechanical contractors. We combined the best aspects of each to form a more advanced and efficient operation. We’re newer than other companies, but our experience is deep-rooted and we have a fresh approach to doing business.
SME Mechanical is located at 219 New York Avenue in the heart of Des Moines’ old industrial Highland Park neighborhood, just north of downtown Des Moines, Iowa.
